How to Find What You Want When Searching TPT

Have you been having a hard time lately finding the products you need when searching on TPT?  If the answer is yes, I want to give you a couple tips that will hopefully make your search results easier and faster.

Tip #1: Use Quotation Marks

When you type a phrase in the TPT search bar, you may now get a small popup that suggests using quotes.  TPT says this will help fine-tune your search request and generate more accurate results.  Using quotation marks like this was very common back in the 1990s, when search engines were much less refined.  But, like education and fashion, what’s old is new again so go ahead and give it a try!

Tip #1: Use TPT’s Sort By Button

After typing in your keyword phrase in the search bar, use the oblong button underneath, towards the right of your screen, to select the kind of results you want to see.  You can choose to see products based on: relevance, rating, price, or most recently uploaded.  That is, the results will be how TPT categorizes them and they may still not be exactly what you’re looking for.  But using the Sort By button should help.

Tip#3: Use These 2 Tips During the TPT Sale

Besides wanting you to be able to find materials without wasting time, another reason for telling you this now is because TPT is having a sitewide sale on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 7th and 8th, and hopefully these tips will help you during the sale.
